Sarina Till is a Computer Science PhD candidate at the University of Cape Town South Africa with a particular interested in the co-design, co-creation and co-deployment of technologies aimed at rural communities. As a prospective HCI researcher , she focuses on understanding the local contexts of the communities she works with in order to design, develop and deploy contextually relevant innovative ICT solutions which has the potential to solve many of the problems rural communities face. Finally, she is passionate about African scholarship and research and has a keen interest in working with and mentoring young up and coming African researchers and PhD candidates who has similar passions.
